A big shout out goes to world-renowned spiritual teacher Michael Mirdad and the amazing people at Unity of Sedona! I had heard so much about this wonderful spiritual community over the years, and what I found far exceeded my every expectation.
For starters, the property is beyond gorgeous! There is a lovely gazebo, labyrinth, water wheel, reflection pond, statuary, a peace pole, prayer flags, an organic garden, crystal bed healing room, and a Peace Park.
The main sanctuary is stunning, accented with eye-catching stained-glass window hangings, a gong, fireplace, statuary, beautiful multi-hued drapery, and affirmations reminding us of the Truth of who we are around the room.
Before and after the service folks meet and greet each other in the spacious metaphysical bookstore and gift shop, and regulars and first-time visitors alike gather after the service over snacks at the Sunshine Café/Fellowship Hall.
My book talk and signing was held in the Serenity Chapel. Located on the second floor of another building on the property, the Chapel exudes warmth, peace, and a sense of oneness the moment you cross the threshold.
The baby blue colors, accent pieces, and very sizeable healing crystal really set the mood for my book talk and signing, and afterwards many of those who attended commented on how they resonated with my story – I Cried. And People Loved Me Anyway. For those who have not read it yet, the book is available on Amazon.
Thank you again Unity of Sedona for your love and support. I look forward to visiting you all again soon!
